I would highly recommend Richmond Animal Hospital. They are under new owners and are great! I called about my sick cat and they immediately got me in and took such great care of her. The Vet was amazing and gave options as far as testing and treatment. The techs and staff were compassionate and knowledgeable. I will continue to take my cats here.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Sherman took time to answer my questions and make my dog feel comfortable. You can definitely tell this is a caring family owned practice. I was dog sitting for good friends and unfortunately one of their dogs got very sick unexpectedly…I called their office when I was on my way, and when I arrived I was the definition of a train wreck, but Nick (Dr. Sherman) came out personally to meet me in the lobby and didn’t even blink at me - he was the epitome of calm, cool, and collected…I got updates on how the pup was doing throughout the day which also went a long way to ease my mind…I don’t often leave reviews, but this kind of customer service and care deserved to be noted. Dr. Sherman goes above and beyond for his patients. He provides the highest quality care, ensuring you receive proper information about your pet's health. Recently, my dog fell very ill and needed emergency treatment. Dr. Sherman and the staff at Richmond Animal Hospital went above and beyond making sure my dog Jax returned to his usual happy and healthy self. I cannot thank them enough for their compassion and clearly extensive base of knowlege when it comes to pet care. The office even placed daily check in calls to see how my dog was doing after his emergency visit. I have been going to Dr. Sherman for years for my dog's care and I cannot imagine bringing my dog to any other vet. Richmond Animal Hospital truly cares for animals and the people that come with them, and it shows.
