I cannot say enough good things about my pet’s visit today. Everyone at this practice was friendly and empathetic to my dog’s condition and took great care of him.
It took them a while to convey what was going on with our dog. My wife and I are highly educated and science minded. Their responses to our questions were over simplified, vague, and honestly it felt like they thought 'trust us because we think you couldn't understand the full situation.'.
Not a good way to build a new relationship.
Windsor Pet Dental is truly the best & their staff is top notch! I was recommended to them by my primary vet in Keene because my dog needed several extractions. During the consultation appointment, they explained everything that would happen during the procedure along with the risks of any animal going under anesthesia.
On the day of Rocky’s procedure, they greeted us with a smile and took excellent care of my boy before, during, and after his procedure. It was discovered that he would need all his teeth removed (he had distemper as a puppy due to a negligent breeder), and the vet tech explained my options as well as what would happen if we didn’t remove them. Once I approved the additional extractions, they went to work and updated me every step of the way. Once they were finished, the lead doctor explained to me post-op med administration, how to keep Rocky comfortable, what possible side effects to watch out for, and what issues to be wary of in the coming days. She was very patient and answered all my questions, even though I’m sure she was tired after such a long ordeal. It gave me additional comfort to know that my baby had been in such good, capable hands.
The staff at Windsor is friendly, professional, attentive, and always puts the safety and well-being of the animal first. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs dental work done on their fur baby!!
To Dr. Waugh and her team, thank you for taking such good care of my boy.
Exceptional care! Compassionate - willing to listen and assess your pet's unique situation. Patient – answered all questions & explained procedures and risks. Dr. Bronko, Dr. Waugh & the staff at WPD provide the kind of personalized care that is hard to find today. 100% worth the drive as stated in many other reviews. I contacted WPD after consulting vet offices in MA & NH that would not perform the dental work, or put us on a 3+ month waiting list. I am forever grateful to Dr. Bronko, Marie, Tina and Nicole for evaluating my cat, providing a diagnosis, and performing necessary surgery on the same day. They understood the goal was to provide relief from the periodontal disease despite my cat’s age and potential cancer diagnosis (which was later confirmed with a thorough post-op analysis and biopsy report from WPD and a specialist). Post-surgery, my cat was happily eating and back to her old self! I would highly recommend WPD, and will bring my other pets here in the future.
I cannot speak highly enough of the Doctors and Staff at Windsor Pet Dentists. I drove and hour and a half to take our 6 year old female lab, Callie, (who has seizures) to them, after it was discovered at her yearly check up that she had chipped a carnassial tooth with exposed pulp. Oh my, how painful that must have been for her. :( We arrived for our consult and Dr Mike was amazing, thoughtful, and spent a lot of time asking questions about our girl and answering my questions. Dr Mike also saw ANOTHER chipped front tooth! I found out at Callie's surgery that one of the Doctors had done some research on the supplements Callie is on to prevent her seizures and that really impressed me. We were concerned we needed to stop those items, but with that added information the Doctors didn't want us to. That alone was a huge relief. Day of surgery, one of the staff took us in and filled me in on what would happen that day and when to expect calls. About 3 hours later, I did get a call, and they found that the carnassial tooth below the upper chipped tooth was also chipped! So of course we gave them the go ahead to fix that. Around 430pm I went back to get Callie. Dr Waugh spent at least a half an hour with me going over the surgery, before and after photos and explaining after care. Callie recovered beautifully over the next few weeks. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my pet to Windsor Pet Dentist. They have perfect their specialty and care about your pet.
